This post provides an exciting opportunity to join the Golden Jubilee Foundation and support our culture of continuous quality improvement working as a key member of the Effective Team within the Clinical Governance Department (CGD). 

Operating across the GJNH as a technical expert on clinical improvement and systems to support policy and guideline management, the post holder will work with the Clinical Effectiveness Manager and wider CGD in ensuring that clinical care and services are high quality, safe, effective and person centred.  The post holder will play a significant role in supporting the Scottish Patient Safety programme and wider clinical improvement activity within GJNH with responsibility for contributing to, and at times leading on, the design of systems complying with prevailing national requirements to support collation and reporting of clinical improvement data. 

You will be educated to degree level, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience and knowledge, with considerable experience of working within Clinical Governance in the NHS.  You will have highly developed, expert knowledge, of a range of quality improvement tools and techniques and able to demonstrate evidence of successfully applying these in practice.  You will have well-developed communication / negotiation and interpersonal skills, making you proficient in managing relationships and building networks. You will have highly developed problem solving, analytical and interpretative skills, and will be competent in analysing and presenting information.
