This is an exciting opportunity to join NHS Golden Jubilee Foundation as we approve and implement our new Board Strategy and focus on the delivery of an expansion plan which will see us treat more patients than ever before.
The post of Director of HR is a pivotal role as we aim to ensure better health, better value and better care, with the patient at the centre of everything we do.
You will be responsible as part of the Executive team for contributing to the Board Annual Operational Plan, Workforce Plan and Financial Plan. As part of our expansion it will be critical that you ensure the workforce strategy is reviewed regularly ensuring that it reflects national policy and strategy developments whilst supporting the aims of the Board during this expansion phase.
You will lead the development and implementation of a creative resourcing strategy in order to ensure that required staff are recruited efficiently and effectively.
Responsibility for the leadership of the Board’s HR, Occupational Health, Spiritual Care and Learning and Organisational Development functions is key within the role. The successful applicant will participate fully in the corporate management and governance of the Board and will also be responsible for providing high level expertise to the Board’s Chief Executive and Executive Team.
The successful applicant will have a track record of human resource management within a healthcare or equivalent complex organisation and will be able to demonstrate past success in the implementation of Change Programmes.
You will have the personal credibility and interpersonal skills to lead and deliver in this demanding role.
